Ingredients:​

50g cashew nuts

50ml tap water

1 tablespoon tamari

1 tablespoon rice or apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
Flavours:

Basil: 6 fresh basil leaves

Garlic: 1 oven-roasted garlic clove or a teaspoon of garlic powder

Lemon: juice of 1/2 a lemon

Tomato: 1 tablespoon tomato paste

Method:

Add the cashew nuts, water, tamari, nutritional yeast and vinegar to a blender, along with extra ingredients for flavour of your choice.

Blend until smooth about 1 min.

Pour over the dish of your choosing (e.g. Buddha bowl, salad, pasta, risotto).
