Preparation Time: 5mins.

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana

  • 1 medjool date (remember to remove the pit)

  • 100g fresh or frozen berries

  • Generous handful of spinach or kale (fresh leaves or frozen)

  • 200ml plant milk

  • 200ml water

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

​

Optional extras:

  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds, 1 tablespoon almond butter, 1 tablespoon baobab powder

​

Method:

  1. Peel the banana and then place all the ingredients into a blender. Blend for 1min. until lovely purple/pink colour develops.


Penny recommends:

  • Use frozen banana and/or spinach for extra coolness.
